Sonia had a smile and laugh that could light up a room, and she and Stuart have passed that love of a good time combined with common sense and care for others on to their daughters. Sonia's work with undernourished and under-served kids in schools is a testament to her compassion for those less fortunate. She was a card shark, a lover of books, a questioner of mysteries great and small, a great conversationalist, a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law, and a devoted wife and dog-momma. My sincere condolences to Stuart, Alison, Sheila, and Sandi. Sonia was a wonderful woman and I’m honoured to have shared so much time with her.

To Sonia's family, I offer my condolences in your loss. Sonia was a swim mate of mine at Wascana Rehab for many years and I loved her wit, her charm and her genuine interest of all of us at the pool. Justice Cameron, my sincere condolences to you and your family on the loss of Mrs. Cameron. I have fond memories of her graciously co-hosting and welcoming me and so many of other former law clerks and CA staff at annual receptions at the Tallis home. Dear Stuart and Family - It is with greater sadness that Pam and I learned of Sonia’s passing last week. I know how much she was loved by her family and admired and respected by so many friends and acquaintances. The obituary was an eloquent tribute to Sonia’s life and her commitment to people and important human priorities. It captured her essential spirit very well.
