He was predeceased by his wife of 56 years, Irma; son Kelly; great-granddaughter, Olivia Layne Clouson; sons-in-law Sandy Munson and Marcel Baumet; parents Roy and Stella; brothers Frank, Raymond, Gordon, Roy; and sister Adele (Linton). Jim was born in Regina, got his education in the Sanderson and Truax school districts. Jim farmed in the Truax area before retiring to Regina in 1988. Throughout his life Jim was a strong community person and actively volunteered in his community and church. As a young man, he really enjoyed baseball and was a very good ball player. Jim was very good at wood working and really enjoyed making bowls and many other artifacts during his retirement. Jim loved all generations of his family and enjoyed every visit he had with them. One of Jim’s greatest accomplishments was being a great father. He was always there for his family through all their ups and downs whenever needed.
