Our most sincere condolences to you Don and your family. Both my son and I were blessed to have gotten to know Ruth during her time at Wascana. I just heard yesterday that Ruth had passed away and I am so sorry that I didn't know about her passing as I would have been at her funeral. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day that says 'I will try again tomorrow'. Ruth had that kind of courage and so Don, did you and your entire family. She lived her life before and after the stroke with courage, dignity and grace. A good life. A great loss. A love remembered. Don and family, my condolences.

Our Heartfelt Sympathy to all of Ruth's family. We got to know Ruth when our mom Irene and.sister Theresa Persson were residents at the Wascana Rehab. Ruth, I have so many wonderful memories of you: at the farm and your horse riding skills, local sports days, your sense of style and sewing abilities. You took me under your wing, when I graduated high school, and guided me into city life. You spend time with all of your siblings, making each one of us feel special. You had an amazing smile, full of laughter, and were sharp witted. Ruth you were always thoughtful of others, interested in what everyone was doing, gave guidance to those who asked, or listened to those that needed a listening ear. Your strong faith has helped you on your life's journey, a road that was not always easy. I love you so much and will miss you dearly. May you rest in peace, free of the pain
