Our sympathies to the entire family. Ann was my grade 1 teacher. You don't always remember all of your teachers growing up, but Anne was one that I always remembered. Whenever we are watching Mark compete, I always say "HIS GRANDMA taught me grade one!!!"

I am so sorry for your loss. I have such happy memories of time spent with Ann and Leo. Her chocolate chip cookies were the best and her smile lit up the room. Her beautiful voice made church bearable when we were kids and didn’t really want to be there. Sitting in the school hallways at Christmas time, singing carols while she played the piano is a memory I always look back on with such fondness. She touched the lives of so many and will be missed by us all.
