Obituary of Rose Josephine Dowie

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rose on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at the age of 91. Rose is survived by her loving, caring husband Warren Dowie; sister-in-law Deanna Crighton; brother-in-law Wilf Ortman; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Valentine and Katherine; three sisters, Liz (Red), Peggy (Bill) and Kae; one brother, John (Marlene); and brother-in-law Herb. Rose was a long-time employee of Saskatchewan Health and she retired in 1984. She was a very talented seamstress and made many of her own clothes and clothes for Warren. Rose and Warren were together for 48 wonderful years and during their time together they maintained homes in both Regina Beach and Regina. The family would like to thank the staff on the Palliative Care Ward at the Pasqua Hospital for their compassionate care. A Graveside Service will be held at Riverside Memorial Park Cemetery, 815 Assiniboine Avenue East, Regina, SK on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 10:30 AM, please meet inside the gates. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to a charity of your choice.
