I am sending most sincere condolences to Adeline, Azalea, and Tricia and family. While our paths haven’t crossed as often lately I cannot look at my bookshelves without thinking of the generous gift of books I received from Bob and Adeline when starting my teaching career, the wonderful friendship of Azalea, and checking in with Adeline at many skating competitions. I hope that the beautiful memories and love from family and friends carry you all through this most difficult loss.

Adeline & Family: Sheldon and I were both so sorry to hear of Bob's passing. As a colleague at YRHS, we observed first hand how Bob worked with students and staff to promote learning, and to fill the hallways of that school with enthusiasm for the various strands of the language arts. Personally, I owe Bob a huge debt of gratitude. I only learned yrs later that it was he who approached Administration regarding my move to Grade 12 teaching. Without that, I would not have enjoyed my career as much, nor would I have spent the 8 yrs teaching for both the U of R and the U of S. His mentorship and example had a strong impact and he will never be forgotten. Jean (Scorgie) Knoll

Our Deepest Sympathy to you and your family. I fondly remember my time as an intern at Foam Lake Composite High School where Bob was the Principal and I know he definitely had a say in hiring me on staff. Our teaching paths crossed again when we were on the same teaching staff at the Yorkton Regional High School.So many GREAT memories of a man devoted to teaching and to his family.
