Tansi Keewatins,
family, friends,
inlaws, exes
and assorted rabble rousers.
What moved on from here was a beautiful soul.
Cynthia Keewatin
She was my Auntie.
I known her all my life…lol
My Auntie was one of the crazy wild ones
She was one of Creators own rare, limited edition
Auntie was an amazing human being,
her kindness and beautiful nature brought light on the darkest of days.
It is in this darkness that that her divine spark is so sorrowfully missed.
Her light was a beacon of warmth and she shared it with any lucky enough to meet her.
Once she claimed you she would always take care of you in her gentle and giving way.
She had an interesting life that somehow wove it’s way through all of our hearts
My Auntie made you feel special.
Like you were the best thing in the whole universe
Auntie always had all the faith in the world that you could do anything you set your mind too.
She would tell you to try.
She would support you in any way she could.
She would also tell you to snap out of it if your plan sucked.
My Auntie worked hard all her life and was always helping friends and family.
No one ever was hungry when she was around.
She wanted peace and gave safety to all in need
Even though her life was hard
The world could not make her grow cold
She was a Matriarch who survived a series of battles
Lesser women would have crumbled with what she had to endure
She loved fiercely
Fought bravely and got knocked down a couple times hard
I saw how her heart broke
I also saw that like a phoenix
Auntie she rose up from them ashes
Each and every time
she dusted herself off and got back in the ring.
PUCK A MA HOW!!!
She never gave up
On herself
On her family
My Auntie fought for happiness and won.
She had faith and a dedication to healing.
Auntie lived as a human being
She shared her gifts and her knowledge
Her ways were of love
My cheeks were always sore the next day from laughing with her when we could visit.
She delighted in her family as it grew and expanded over the years.
From the newest babies to the older kids she had a deep love and connection to each and every one of her grandbabies and great grandbabies.
I see her beauty in its echo’s.
Auntie will live on through all our cousins and their families.
You will see her in them.
I think that is why this hurts so much.
The not being able to see her anymore.
We were lucky enough to have been born in her time.
We were lucky enough to have been kin or friend.
I always remember the good she did in brightening peoples day
She would always have coffee on
Aunties house was always had an open door.
She lived for making us fat and happy
She would always be there to listen and that’s what I will miss in the years to come
I think of how lucky I was to know her in this world
My Auntie taught me a few things she learned here on Earth I would like to share with you.
1. Dance whenever you can
2. Music has the power to heal
3. Take care of yourself
4. Be kind to each other
5. Pray hard
6. Laugh a lot
7. Always scrub scrubb
8. All that remains is the love
hiy hiy
