Our deepest and most heart-felt condolences to Alice's family. I'll always be so appreciative to Alice for her natural ways of bringing her welcoming spirit and warmth-ness into every encounter we had. From her authentic smile and big wave from across the streets in Avonlea (and later, at the Manor), she was consistent in making a point of acknowledgement of your presence with that amazing smile and gentle greetings, paying no regard as to the kind of day she may have been having.
My dad Roy, will deeply miss that comradery Alice established at the Manor. The comradery that was nurtured by her gentle tenacity in being the ring leader and to always initiate "Rummy" card playing throughout the week. :)).
