Just heard the news of John's passing. John and I met back in 1996 when we both worked at Henderson Distributors and later with JELDWEN and Gentek. Big Johnny as I called him was one of my favorite human beings that I ever met. Was so nice to work together with him again at Gentek. I will miss him terribly and will plant two trees in Big Johnny's memory at the lake this summer.
Rest well my brother, I will miss that unique smile and infectious laugh of yours.

It was devastating when I heard about John's passing and his battle. I ran into him about 8 months ago to the sound of "Hey Tiny how's it going?"
John started out as a customer of mine who just liked to give me a hard time as all the Henderson guys did. Always good for a laugh or a funny story. Bonnie was working for a competitor of mine and John always had to remind me that Bonnie was a better sales person than me and better looking too! Over the years we stayed in contact either talking about work or family but mostly just about the fun and great things in life.
I am glad you are no longer suffering my friend and you will be missed.
Bonnie and family my deepest condolences.

My very sincere condolences! He was too young. As a kid John was unforgettable. He always managed to get the last funny word in on whatever the latest distraction was in the classroom. You could count on his wise, yet hilarious insight on Damn near everything. I went to school with him from Kindergarten to Grade 12. He was such an athlete, as I recall, especially in basketball. Also unforgettable was his voice and those twinkling eyes. Sending love and prayers to his family. Warmly, Kathy Hunter

My sincerest condolences to Bonnie and the entire Templeton family at this time. You have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support. Working with John over the past 5 years, he was always willing to lend a helping hand or an ear for co-workers to talk to. He had an infectious personality and left a positive impression on everyone he met. He was well respected by his co-workers and his clients, who he treated like family. I will miss my conversations with John, our topics varied from our families to sports and of course business. He was always supportive of me and of course our company. We most certainly miss the big guy. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow.

John will truly be missed. He was my co-partner at work and my complaint department. He was aways the first to reach out to check on my wellbeing.
We shared family pictures, stories and memories some days more than we actually worked. The running joke all the time at Creative Door was how much work John doesn't do.
John and I shared the love of carrot cake and we took every opportunity to have a piece or incorporate it into work meetings/ gatherings. "its your birthday coming up... better get a carrot cake"
Since John was next to me most day I always joked about his indigestion ... when I would get coffee for us, I would purposely get him decaf, less cream and sugar and wipe the top off showing the description. I always thought it helped in the end and I didn't have to feed him Rolaids all afternoon.
I will forever miss John, the fun we had, texting, phone calls, etc.
