Pappy was a wonderful grandfather, husband, and person. I remember him taking me to the playground, skating, and out for many delicious meals. He always showed his love freely and was the first to go for a hug during every greeting. He will be greatly missed and was greatly loved.

Dear Aunt Viviane, David, Julie and families,
I am so sad to hear that Uncle Ken passed away. David, I also have many great memories of our families getting together, both in PEI and Renfrew. Our four parents shared a special bond and I know my Mom always looked forward to seeing her "little brother". Over the years we still managed to touch base with Christmas cards or phonecalls when Uncle Ken and I would debate which province had the worst weather, politics and gardening. He was a very special man and like so many others, I will miss him.

Thank you, Gary. We'll certainly pass along your condolences to my mother. I have many fond memories of visits with the Charter clan, and yes, my dad was very close with both Florence and Walter. Walter was truly a gem of a man, and like a brother to my dad. May they all rest in peace.

Ken was a wonderful Father-in-law. He was a such good man. A veteran. Hard working. A loving and fun Pappy (grandfather) to our daughters. Ken was generous of spirit, with non-judgmental compassion for others. As was his way, he welcomed me into his family with love. I will always treasure our relationship and that I got to have such a special person my life. ♥️

Sending love and hugs to Angie and the whole family. I have fond memories of going over to the Owens' house to play as a child. Both Ken and Vivian were always very welcoming and kind. The love they had for Angie was evident and Ken will surely be missed immensely.

Pappy was like a father to me from day one. And the last thing he told me was I was like a daughter to him. Every year I sent him father's day cards. He took me on countless outings. He taught me how to skate. Ride a bike. Play tennis. Skip rocks on the river. We went on very long bike rides. He made snow forts With me in his backyard. He was always there for me. I will miss you Pappy. Thank you for all the great times we had and all the wonderful memories we shared. I love you with all my heart ❤️

Sending my deepest condolences to Kens family during this difficult time, i knew Mr and Mrs Owens from our days on Stonehenge Cres, this is where Angie and My oldest daughter got to know each other and hung around, Angie was often in our home, Mr and Mrs Owens always took amazing care of her and were kind neighbors to us all, when i think back to those days i can still see Ken coming home from work and always had a smile on his face and Vivian out to greet him most times with her apron on hanging over her dress, they would often come to my house to talk about my front garden.. I will always have fond memories of those days and im sure Mr Owen is smiling down on us all. Blessing from Ginette and the Dominique Children..

I will remember Pappy as a loving husband, dad and grandpa. I always admired his excitement for life and, growing up, I felt like I had the most “fit” grandpa around. He would take Ally and I for bike rides and play on playgrounds with us. The photo I attached is from Christmas of 2018. Pappy will live on in our memories! ❤️
