Our thoughts and prayers go out to family. Grew up with Rick on a wonderful close knit street and community. Eastend Grocery was the store a place where you could go get whatever you needed and knowing everyone made it much more special. Those memories stay with me forever, that community world is gone today, very sad this generation will never know how very special it was. You could leave your doors unlocked, walk down the street and stop and chat with people sitting on.the steps on a hot summer night everyone knew who your neighbour was. The whole Konoff.Family were a big part of that special.place and time. 1600 and 1700 block Toronto Street a very special.place for those that grew up there.
