Oh my dear friend Sabrina! My heart goes out to you as you grieve and heave she at the loss for f your dear mother! I understand you lost bits of her over a period of time but when the end comes? You wonder “ why does this hurt so much?” Your mom was a complete JOY! My thoughts &heartfelt condolences to you my lovely chum! Hello to all of the McMillan family, Joy was a marvelous woman. The McMillans and Twetens all went to Thom and were involved with activities. I know Sabrina and Trina the best and if I would run into them somewhere, usually their mother was with them. She always took an interest in our families and activities, I send my deepest sympathy to all of you. You will miss her greatly and at the most unexpected times. The business of grief is really hard. Take care of each other. May she rest in peace and may light perpetual shine upon her.

Thank you Janet for acknowledging the MacMillan family’s loss of their dear Mom! We were a tight knit community as North End kids from huge families! Our mothers left legacies of heartiness, resiliency, and deep commitment to supporting their communities in numerous ways! Since our Mom passed, I am ever so thankful for her influence and legacy of rich investment into all of our lives: family and friends were recipients of all of those North end Matriarchs! ❤️

My deepest condolences to Joy's kind and loving family. Over the years I got to know her well. Her sparkling personality and zest for life was incredible. She was loving, kind , caring and had a great sense of humor, that make the years of "Joy" roll down my cheeks. She outdanced me on the dancefloor years ago...i gave her the broom and she continued with no hesitation. I will miss her quick wit and love of life. She will always be in my heart. Hugs to her beautiful family.
