Mom was born in 1944 in Truro, Nova Scotia to Alex and Elizabeth Sebastian and is the eldest of six children. They moved to Punnichy when Mom was only 6 weeks old. They then moved to Weyburn where they started their family.  In 1972, the family moved to Ituna where Mom taught and enjoyed spending time with many friends and being involved with the community. Their final move was to Regina in 1979 where Mom was proud to be a teacher with Regina Catholic Schools, she loved all her colleagues and students.

Mom devoted her time to her family, the church, CWL, and all the students she taught. The family wishes to thank all her caregivers at the Regina General Hospital, Pioneer Village (TCU), and College Park 2.
