Darcy, Calvin and family: I was saddened to hear of the passing of your amazing dad. I remember as a kid (back in the 1970's) - visiting your store and how intelligent and witty your dad's stories were. He (and your mom) were always so kind to me when I was visiting you boys at Ideal Confectionary. He taught me so many neat things too. My thoughts go out to you and your families. Paul GEE

So sorry to hear of Jims passing he was a regular acquaintance as we frequented his store many times to which he always asked how mom and dad were doing. being my parents were deaf he knew of them. Archie and his brothers were friends of ours a many game of football in the surrounding parks was always on the agenda. Even his wife Jean was very cordial. Again, my condolences.
