I was saddened to hear of Ken’s passing. I met him through lawn bowling and was always fun to be around. He was one of the best to teach lawn bowling to people new to the sport. We lost a great friend.

We were saddened to hear of Ken’s death. We have many happy memories of bowling both outdoors and indoors with Ken. He was a great bowler and a wonderful man - very welcoming and helpful with new bowlers, friendly and a great conversationalist. Even though very ill, he still managed to come out to short mat a couple of times this year. And he still managed to outplay us! We will miss him.

What a great person he was - always a gentleman. Ken taught me the sport of lawn and mat bowling. He always had a smile and was so welcoming to everyone. Rest in peace dear friend!
