It was with great sadness and and a heavy heart that I heard of Denny's sudden passing recently. The sting of loss of this extraordinary man, will be felt acutely by the countless, students, young people,colleagues over the years ,as well as the many communities he contributed to and friends and neighbors that he no doubt shared his wonderful gifts of humor,compassion and faith with. His wonderful family Debbie, Jeff, Jason and Jen, and their families will of course miss him even more.I feel sad for you all ,and hope that you know that all who knew him,including me, share your grief. Denis had a kind word for everyone and with his positive, can-do philosophy, he motivated everyone he encountered to be their best selves. He made a difference in my life. I feel lucky to know Denny as my teacher, boss,colleague, mentor, and friend. Now he leaves us for a little while for his other home...
