Susan, Tasha, Shaun and family - I have many fond memories of Bernie from his teenage years through to his starting and raising a family. From his first new house he had built to the ant infestation while they rented while waiting for the second house to be built in Uplands. The many visits and get togethers with Bernie and family at Christmas, New Years. To him and Susan showing up on our front lawn at our home in Bethune when it was just the two of them in the little Toyota that Susan won. Bernie will be deeply missed.

We were so, so sorry to hear of Bernie’s passing. Our deepest sympathies to you all. I am so glad we had the opportunity to have a visit at the rink this winter. Bernie was so proud and loved all his grandchildren so much. At work, he would always talk about his grandchildren and couldn’t wait to go back to Texas. He will be missed.
