I was shocked and saddened to hear of Janet’s passing. I remember Janet (and Mark) singing with the Conservatory Studio Singers when we rehearsed on College Avenue and more recently with Vivace. I always enjoyed singing beside her. She had a quiet warmth and positive energy that will be greatly missed in the second soprano section. Our family is so so sad to hear of this beautiful woman’s passing. My boys attended both elementary and high school with her children. Janet was always present during the elementary years. You frequently saw her on excursions with the class or helping in the classroom. Her warm and gentle demeanour was always welcomed by both students and teachers.
