I met Darryl nearly 35 years ago. He frequently lunched at the Eaton-Dominion Mall cafeteria with some of my friends. I found him to be one of the most gentle and pleasant people I've ever met. He was as nice as nice could be. I met him again when he killed all the darn mice in my apartment building. As always, he was a very friendly soul. I am saddened by your loss. Men like Darryl are hard to find. He had a good life.

Darryl how you will be so very much missed, as a friend I will miss the laughter the stories and fun times and moments we shared. To the family I send my deepest condolences ...as I cant imagine how hard this must be for you. Darryl found fun in every corner life had and showed help and support to the people he knew. However as I believe when the lord needs an angel he calls for them, when Darryl was called upon from us he was there...as the lord our saviour called upon Darryl he rose and answered the lords call as he always answered ours.........rest in peace my friend may you make heaven brighter up there as you made our world heaven down here.
