Obituary of Darryl Charles Riess

DARRYL CHARLES RIESS 1946 – 2014 Darryl passed away with family and friends by his side on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the age of 68 years. He was predeceased by his parents, Sidney and Margaret Riess. Darryl is survived by his wife Annabella; daughter Tammy (Ken) Hunter and granddaughters, Charis and Robyn; son John (Nancy) Belay and grandsons, John and James; brother Harry (Sheila) Riess and nephew Sheldon (Christine), niece Kirsten (Lee) Steg and niece Shayla; as well as brothers and sisters-in-law and their families. Darryl operated Riess Exterminators LTD for over 40 years. The business was started in 1926 by his father and two uncles. Darryl took over when his father retired. Thank you to all the customers for their patronage over the years. A Memorial Service will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Darryl may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 279 – 3rd Avenue, North, Saskatoon, SK, S7K 2H8 or the Canadian Diabetes Association, Southern Saskatchewan, 917 Albert Street, Regina, SK, S4R 2P6.
