Dear Graham, Ben, Sophie and Abby,
Penny and I became friends in 1996 at Manulife Financial in Regina. We enjoyed so many great times together in the office and at conferences. Over the years we always kept track of each other through Manulife people. She will be missed by SO many ... I was lucky to have been able to call her a friend. My heartfelt sympathy to all.

I knew Penny first in October, 1965, when she moved into a small shared room near Baker Street in London, England, a few doors along from the room I was sharing with Graham. She looked stunning at the University College London May Ball, in 1967, and she was always a lot of fun. I never saw a happier person than when I drove Graham and Penny from their wedding reception to the Norfolk Broads for their honeymoon. I remember how supportive she was of Graham a few years later when they returned to London for Graham to do his Ph.d. in that little flat in Victoria. I know she achieved much after moving to Canada. Truly, a life worth celebrating.

Graham, Ben, Sophie & Abby,
We were next door neighbours when the children were small. Darla and Sophie were close friends, and Abby and Erin got into mischief together. Penny was a dear friend to me. We send love and condolences to you all. I remember Penny sharing the bounty of her garden, fighting for the local library and taking care of her very active family. She will be greatly missed.
Love from Bob & Lois Brown

To the Parson family -
Although I only had the privilege to meet your mom once and take her photo- it was a pleasure to meet her. And the true loveliness of her daughter is testament to what kind of selfless, kind, loving mother she was.
We are all sorry for your loss - I am certain her presence will always be missed.
Kindest Regards
Ron, Nicole, Bronte and Griffin Bowerman
(neighbours to Abby and Mike)

Dear Graham, Ben, Sophie, Abby and families
What a beautiful obituary for a beautiful person inside and out. It was written with much love and attention to reflect the person she was. She fiercely loved her family and was very proud of you all. On our many visits over the years, she proudly recounted stories of each of you, your accomplishments with a glow on her face that said it all. She delighted in each one of her grandchildren and I could tell that she had a special connection with each one.
Penny was a good friend and a great advisor on many subjects - my garden, my travels, my career and my kids. I will miss her deeply, but always carry her in my heart.
