Dear Val, Nicholas and Zachary,
What fond memories we have of Gary. He was the first person I met as we lined up for registration at Law School, and I couldn't have been luckier. A more solid and decent friend could not be asked for, no greater help in wandering through the persistent haze of the law, no better companion over a beer or on the ski hill.
Our deepest condolences, thoughts and prayers are with you.

Dear Val, there are no words that really help one though a time like this.. So I'm sending you and your family a heartfelt hug.. I've learnt though my life experiences that a true hug says more than words..
Unfourtunately I'm going to out of town on Friday so you and yours will be in my thoughts. I do wish I had able to be there and give you a hug in person.
Thinking of you today and in the days to come.

I'm sorry to hear of Garry's passing. Garry my cousin was always of quick quiet charm and the occasional..sarcastic remark, like "why don't you go play in Albert St traffic." Garry has many family members and we will all surely miss you.

He was a great guy, and more importantly a great friend. Both Sally and I will miss him deeply.
I hope these memories will bring a smile to your face and you will be thinking "yup, that was Garry alright" !
I am really sorry that my flights were delayed a couple weeks ago and that I wasn't able to visit with him.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family in the days and months ahead. We will donate to CNETS research in Garry's memory.

Sally and I were very saddened to hear of Garry's passing. We have a lot of very good memories of the good time we shared with Garry.
From the first night that Garry and Dave B. took me out around Regina to "initiate" me, all of the political campaigning, the great "after work" socializing at places like the Black Tomato or Earls and somehow always finding our way home, being asked to leave the Casino one night as we might have had one too many (apparently showing other people at the poker table your hand and asking for advice was frowned upon), golfing together in Ralph's tournament (where we "liberal-ly" had to move the ball to where we could swing without hitting trees several times) and finally the great fishing trip we shared to Flin Flon where (in addition to some actual fishing) I was very fortunate to have Garry as my partner for the many games of cards we played and it was the only trip in 20 years where I never lost a single game ! (continued in next entry due to length)
