I went to Junior High and a MUCC graduate with Betty. It was great to see her at our last Class Reunion. She hadn't changed. Big warm smile, lots to chat about and always so positive and caring. She will dearly be missed and my sympathies to her family and friends at this very sad time. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Elaine Pelletier (nee Bennett)

Our sincere sympathy in the loss of your dear sister.
I remember Betty as a happy, active little girl when we used to visit your family at your farm in Pleasant Valley. The promise of her growing up to be a happy, dynamic, caring woman was evident even at that time.
May you find comfort for your loss in the bonds of family love, shared memories. and the care of many friends.
The Galbraith Sisters

I'm so sorry for your loss. Betty was my class mate in Melfort, I had the pleasure of knowing her through our high school years. I remember her as a positive, supportive and kind young woman. Thank you for posting the memorial video, was wonderful to see her life in pictures and remember that beautiful smile. She's in my thoughts.

I have had the privilege of knowing Betty both as a work colleague and as a friend. As a colleague, I remember Betty as a leader and as someone who truly cared for people. I appreciated her sense of humour - and will always remember her "random acts of Dilly Bar" on a Friday afternoon!
As a friend, getting together with Betty often involved lots of coffee, lots of talking and of course lots of laughing. Betty liked to talk about the things that brought her the most joy in life - and our conversations would always include her family and extended family.
Betty will be remembered as a lover of nature, talented photographer, soccer (and Roughrider) fan, lover of music, friend and caretaker to Ti and Bailey, woman of action (eg. marathon running!) and most especially as a friend. The world was a better place with Betty in it. She will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.
May all your special and happy memories of Betty bring you peace and sustain you at this difficult time.

I am so very sorry and saddened to hear of Betty's passing. I had the extreme pleasure of working for Betty during her time at the Provincial Lab. She truly was a rare gem of a human being. She became my friend and confidant during that time and when I think of Betty, my heart shines. During our visits she would talk of her family and her eyes would sparkle and her laughter was beautiful, I can still hear it when I close my eyes. She loved her family tremendously. It breaks my heart that Betty had to leave us all too soon. This world was a better place with her in it. Her friendship was a beautiful blessing to me and I will miss her dearly. I know this is a difficult and painful time for all of you, her family, but I pray that over time the pain will heal and you will feel the warmth of Betty's presence in your heart's when you remember her. Please know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.

Betty was a gentle and caring soul and a dear friend. Our last visit was most enjoyable -- we talked, we laughed, we relaxed. We also enjoyed her book of Saskatchewan photographs. She had a talent for capturing the simple things and presenting them beautifully and peacefully. They were very calming - just as I remember Betty. I will miss her and I will remember her always with fondness.
My thoughts and prayers are with Betty's loved ones at this difficult time. May the memories fill your mind, warm your heart and carry you through.
