Offering our deepest condolences at this time. May you find comfort in knowing that your dear loved one is resting now...merely sleeping and that soon Rev. 21:1-4 and Psalms 37:29 will soon be a reality.... soon we'll be able to see our loved ones again in a paradise earth no longer plagued with death, tears or pain. I am so sorry for your loss, Fred was so welcoming and friendly from the moment you met him he put you at ease. His smile was infectious and came so easily, his laughter and sense of humour as well. He was very well respected and regarded in our community by all who knew him.
Remember the many good times you shared, he will be missed and remembered.
Fondly, Merrill

Uncle Fred was a great man who will be missed dearly! Only after seeing him a few months ago, my father Darryl told me how much of an impact Uncle Fred on his life. He told me Uncle Fred was like a father to him growing up, and that really meant a lot. Although I didn't get to know him very well, after hearing that from my father it showed just how great Uncle Fred was! I know he was a big fan and follower of my career and success and he would watch as many games as he could. I just wish I could have done more for him! Such as get him tickets to games, and introduce him to players that he may have wanted to meet. Uncle Fred you were a great man! And a huge impact on my fathers and my life. You will be dearly missed, may you rest in peace! Love Dylan Olsen

So sorry for the loss of Fred. I had no idea as to how much "Fast One " had done during his life - nor how much of an impact he had on on the people in his life. RIP Fred - you need not worry about being remembered. You'll be remembered forever.
Love :

Fred's tireless energy will be missed by the entire community.
We are out of the country and unable to attend the service for Fred, but our thoughts and prayers will be there.

Bev and Scott - I am so sorry for your loss. Chad Sali told me about it. Fred was a great man and I will always remember his good coaching advice and words of encouragement when I played hockey years back. Sometimes I think back and miss those years.
Scott - I know we have lost touch over the years, but let's connect when you can...my family and I live outside Aspen, Colorado so if you are a skier, you should definitely plan a trip. Send me an email when you can (jdholowaty@gmail.com).
Regards,
Jeff

My deepest sympathies to Fred's family on the passing of a genuinely "good guy". Fred truly believed that laughter was good for the soul and was always ready with a smile or laugh. We shared many of those as long-time fellow members at the Regina "Y". A good man who will truly be missed.
