To June and the Merle family.
My wife Linda joins me in wishing you our deepest sympathy in the recent death of my friend George Merle.
I always enjoyed my many associations and contacts with George during my years of employment at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Sask Division (CMHA).
In particular I enjoyed reading and discussing George's writings with him. George also always took a keen interest in the work I was doing raising awareness of problem gambling for the Problem Gambling Community Program at CMHA. .
George was a very friendly and sincere individual who was genuinely concerned about the plights of others.. He was a real "people person!".
