Obituary of George Richard William Merle

GEORGE RICHARD WILLIAM MERLE George “Yorgo” Richard William Merle passed away at home on Thursday, November 13, 2014. George leaves behind his wife, June (Holt); brother Charlie and grandson Austin; extended family on both sides and many friends to mourn their loss. George loved June for their 25 years together. He also loved his sports, especially golf, music, travel, writing poetry and short stories, and ‘busking’ his renditions of Johnny Cash. A Memorial Service will take place at the Pioneer Village Chapel, 430 Pioneer Drive, on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Cheryl Toth officiating.
