Our hearts are heavy today hearing the news if the loss of our dear friend and neighbor John. He was kind and generous to our family from the moment we moved in next door. Whether it was one of Helen's paintings, giant stuffed smurfs for the toy room, SGI Safety First activity books or the coloring pages from the QC that were in our mailbox almost daily,he was always thinking of our girls. He was always quick to come out and say hello, start a story about the war, fixing TVS, the merits of square dancing or the evils of drinking, smoking or eating KFC.
His face on the front step or in his front window was a mainstay on our walks to and from school everyday and his absence will be felt deeply by us all.
Our condolences to Helen and all the family, we deeply regret that we won't be able to attend the service to show our final respect to our friend.
John, we will miss you and I think it's safe to say we will never have another r neighbor like you. Rest in Peace dear friend.
