Your Dad's funeral service was a moving tribute to him. What a wonderful job you did in making it so very special. You included so many personal touches: Gareth's eulogy with a reminder from Capri about her grandfather's love of trains, the hymns, Andrew's video, the Welsh blessing and the piper We appreciated the opportunity to talk with you after the service.
It must have been difficult to choose the photos of your Dad's rich and well lived life. Give yourselves a big pat on the back.
One of our recent memories of Gordon is the occasion we celebrated together with a meal at Brightwater, perhaps it was just being together. We brought along a bottle of his favourite beer and the twinkle in his eye was really something. Whatever damage the illness did, Gordon remained kind and generous, he wanted to share his precious drink with all of us.
We wish you the very best and hope we meet again along the way.
