Dear Evelyn, Robert and all, I am happy to have seen this! Lovely obituary it is and the picture, just as we knew Christine down here. Many memories. I shall be writing more shortly I hope. We will maybe hear details of the funeral in time. You will miss Christine but we are all so grateful that hjer long vigil is over and she has so much to enjoy now. Another inspiration for us all. Just want to say with the many who will feel the same way, that our Dear Christine was such a beautiful spirited girl during the years of her youth and I have precious memories of time spent together in Paraguay, We know the One whom she served will not forget her labor of love, and many who still walk the earth will have gratitude for the kindly note she sent them, or that special effort she made to keep them encouraged. She will be missed but is delivered from her poor old body. Condolences to all who will miss her out of their daily lives. Jean Cook

Dear Robert and family: Wayne and I just learned of Christine's passing. We have beautiful memories of dear Christine. She came to live at my home in Winnipeg when she began university. We all loved her. I remember when she was going home one time to Saskatchewan and seemed to have something troubling her. My Mum asked her if it was the "work", she said "yes"! We have the highest respect for all that Christine accomplished in her yielded life! Your friends, Wayne and Beth Cusitar (Calgary)

My heart is deeply touched as we think of our departed sister of whom we have nothing but good memories. I have known Christine and her brother since their youth and admired them in their service to God and others. It was such a thrill to me when Christine offered her life for the Work of the Gospel and again deeply moved me as she offered to go to another land. Her young life was so unselfishly laid down and spent for others. Life seemed so unfair to her, but God never promised life to be fair. If He had it would take away the privilege of serving other and being served. Christine so lovingly and unselfishly served those around her. When the time came she could no longer to that she graciously accepted being served. I want to continue to be inspired by memories of her.

Robert I want to let you know that you are on my mind and in my heart. Christine has been sent back to where she came with welcoming arms there to meet her. I will always remember her kindness and her beautiful long hair that she would let me brush when she came to visit.
