I came to appreciate Lois' generosity and kind heart. When I fell off a chair I was standing on and broke my arm it was 9pm but I called Lois,she and Alec took me to Emerg and stayed with me for hours. Lois was with me when I was told I had no choice, to have open-heart surgery or die, she was with me when I was told post-op I had a blood clot in my jugular, she was with me as soon as she could get there when I was told my oldest son had died in his sleep. I knew I could call her for happy times as well as tragedies.Lois loved to bake.I cherish many of her recipes but don't often use them now. She was a reader.She played bridge regularly with a group of friends. She truly enjoyed Christmas, not only the shopping but her gifts wrapped and bow-tied were a work of art,her Christmas tree was so covered in unique ornaments.It was her season.
So many memories,I could go on and on.I will miss my dear friend.Rest In Peace, Lois
