Maurice, Greg, Rob, Tom, John and all of your families, It was good to be with you all at Vonnie's funeral yesterday. You were such an important part of our years at Wilcox, helping us to feel at home and giving our girls some big brother figures to look up to. I remember the chuckle we gave you the first time we planted our garden just across the street from your house, using a rat-tail file to push the corn into the ground. But you never criticized; you always accepted and supported and loved us. Thank you for that. Thank you for Vonnie. We will always treasure the memories. Love to you all, Chris Mansbridge

Vonnie and your whole family have a special place in my heart. I enjoyed getting to know Vonnie over the past year and a half and being brought into your family. I remember meeting Vonnie when Maurice was busy impressing her, before their marriage. Then, and throughout, she was a wonderful glowing light, welcoming to all, especially to a somewhat problematic niece by marriage, With Vonnie I felt love, and comfort, and her joy in family and children. I think like all who had the blessing of knowing Vonnie, I am e better and grateful for having had her in my life.
