My condolences to both you and Lynn , Greta. Uncle Bill was a warm , caring , funny man with a great heart. He really helped me out when my dad passed away which was so sudden and hard to take for me . Time heals. So true. He has led a fascinating life in the RCMP and travels in Europe . We will be making a donation to CHEO in his name. CHEO was a fantastic hospital especially when Adam was struggling with the H1n1 virus. Wish I could'v e flown down for service!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you !!

Greta and family, I became Bill's "2nd man" at Goldfields, Sask. May 1952 and served with him until his transfer to Security Service. As that area was a beehive of activity in the exploration for uranium, much sought after at that time, we were kept very busy with very little equipment. I have many fond memories of our brief association. Sef Ginther, Burlington, Ontario

Dear Greta, We were all saddened to hear of Uncle Bill's passing. He was always such a calm, strong presence with a positive delivery. As a boy, I remember him as an inspiring super hero character who understated all his accomplishments. When you came to visit our family in Maple Ridge, there were always lengthy pre and post visit, happy anticipations and rememberings. You and he were a great match and over the years experienced so many adventures together. We wish Lynn and You strength at this time and send all our love...
