Derek,
I'm forever grateful that our life paths crossed. I'm a better person for having known you. You're an amazing soul and I've explained to Brett my beliefs in how you'll be with us from now on. The path you left here in the hearts and memories of those who were lucky to know you is how we will have you here forever. The physical path that you left by your creations and footprints in this world will always be here.
We will miss you forever and obviously love you longer than that. Until we see that amazing warm and welcoming smile again, feel your hugs and hear your laugh, we will be partly broken.
