Dear Mary, Shay, Shelley. I was so shocked and saddened to hear news of Don's passing. I can only echo what my other siblings have written - of the fond memories visiting you and your home as a boy and of the incredible godliness, the generosity, strength and gentleness that was exemplified through Don. Though it has been many years I will always treasure those times and the godly influence they have had on me. And though it may be many years yet I look forward to the future and reminiscing about them with Don in the next life.
My prayers and deepest condolences go out to you and your family members and all friends and loved ones. Don will be dearly missed but I pray that the One who is our future and our hope will sustain you with His love and peace and most of all comfort at this time, and every day until we can see Don again and there will be no more tears.

Auntie Mary,
I am deeply saddened to learn of Uncle Don's passing. My parents could not have a chosen a more kind, warm-hearted, godly, and loving man to be my godfather. Even at a young age I remember being very aware of how seriously the both of you took the responsibility of your role as my godparents.
Some of my fondest childhood memories were made in your home. When Uncle Don wasn't teaching the intricacies of shuffle board to Tyler, Trisha, and me, he was busy spoiling us as if we were his very own grandchildren. And when he wasn't spoiling me, he was teaching and reinforcing values of goodness and righteousness in me by the example of his actions. In every memory I have, he is always kind and gentle, humble yet strong.
Today the world is a little dimmer having lost such a beautiful soul.
May the Master of comfort comfort you and your family, and may Don's memory forever be a blessing.
Love,
Justin

I am so sad to hear this news, and so very sorry for your loss. Don was such a fun, kind, warm, and loving man, and I always looked forward to going to your house as a child because of the fun I always had, and the love I always felt from you all. I am blessed to have known Don, and I am thankful that he and the Shpak family were such a big part of my childhood, with many fond memories. I am praying that our gracious Heavenly Father would comfort you all, give you His Peace which passes all understanding, and I send my love with warm hugs to you Mary, Shelley, Shay, and the rest of the family. xo

Dear Mary and family,
We were very saddened to hear of your loss. Don was an incredible man. We have so many precious memories of time spent together, with great food, sharing spiritual stories and of course lots of laughs. Don and Mary, you were the first ones to teach me how to sell a chicken to certain people. May our Heavenly Father, as well as your precious memories, bring you comfort at this sad time.
