Obituary of Donna Mae Powell

It is with profound sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Donna on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Blanche Strang (nee Stingley), sister Linda Starr and daughter Heather. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Ron; son Stephen (Pamela Klein), grandson Elias, and granddaughter Greta. Donna's pride and joy were her grandkids Elias and Greta. She was always quick to proudly update her many friends with their most recent accomplishments of which she was always bursting with pride. Ron was the light in her life and they shared so many happy times over 59 years of wedded bliss. Happy times at the beach (Regina Beach) with great friends and family, golfing for many years at the Royal Regina Golf Course and cherished times at their beautiful home. In lieu of flowers, friends and family may make a donation in Donna's name to the Regina Humane Society, 285 Armour Road, Regina SK S4P 3G7 as tokens of remembrance.
