To the Sinclair Family,
I am most disappointed in the six years that I knew Jim that I did not take the time to speak with him more often. The times that I do recall was that he was there when needed.As the former Honorary Colonel of 10th Field, there is no question that during my early days I did need him. When it came time to dig into the wallet, Jim was first on the table. He represented the quiet voice of conscience when a controversial topic was up for discussion. I will remember that contribution and support.
The family was with Jim at most events at RUSI. It wasn't difficult to see the expression of love and respect between them. This was most warming when one observed the Sinclair family at the very best.
He appeared as a quiet man, and a wise man. He was very much the kind of fellow that one would like very much have a friend. I was very privileged and honored to have known him.
