It is with lament that a choir of angels came to my bedroom to sing the resurrection song of Mr. Reiley. May the kindness of others be with Mrs. Bartel-Racaru as her and Mr. Racaru's friend watches over those awaiting an invitation to the eternal banquet from the Most Supreme Ruler of the Universe.

Saw Stuart at the BUSH League curling wind-up this spring. Shocked to hear of his passing. Stu was on the Rpbert Usher Staff in the early 1980's with Barry. He was the life of the party along with Cawood and Mushka! I knew him best via curling. He was the "Commissioner " of the Balfour-Usher Curling League for may years --- organizing, coordinating, and with Jean gathering year end prizes. Always friendly and considerate; gave his best as a curler! Happy curling Stu! God bless! Barry (and Val) Mitschke (Sorry we couldn't make the service; have been away a lot, including attending family funerals.)

Stuart Reiley was a colleague of mine at Robert Usher Collegiate. How fortunate we all were to share space and time with such a generous and positive human being. Stuart was always kind and helpful. It was great to hear him laugh or receive the occasional hug from a gentle giant. One freezing winter day there was a blizzard. The staff parking lot had many drifts. Everyone wanted to get home but some of us got stuck. Before panic had a chance to set in out came Stu with his shovel and began to dig and push us out. That was Stu Reiley. He will be remembered and missed. Wishing you his family and loved ones comfort and peace.

My condolences to the family and friends of Stu Reiley. He was a very nice man and an excellent teacher. I first met Stu when we served on the board of the Regina Teachers' Club, perhaps in the 1980s. Later, I knew Jean and Stu because we were neighbors just a few houses apart on Victoria Ave. -- and lovely neighbors they were.
