Our deepest condolences to all of the family of Lily Wong. Mrs Wong was an amazing lady and a dear friend of our family. The whole family has been part of our lives for so many years and it is with sadness we hear of her passing.
She was always a strong presence at. Central Lutheran Church and always with a smile and positive attitude. Her love of theLord always showed through. My mom Ingrid so appreciated her friendship and they had many good times together. We give thanks for her and celebrate her life as she goes to be with the Lord.
Gods blessings.

Hearing of Lily's death brings back so many fond memories of Lily and Art and their many kindnesses to us during our years at Central Lutheran Church. There were particularly those times we had to vacate the parsonage due to flood waters in the Wascana Creek and Art and Lily provided not only a place for us to stay but so many acts of kindness for us and our 4 children. Lily's faithfulness particularly at noon services and Bible Studies comes to mind, as well as during my years with the Canadian Bible Society when she would attend the Teas sponsored by the Women's Auxiliary - I looked forward to seeing her at those events. We might have come to Regina to attend the service on Friday but I did have eye surgery on Tuesday which didn't go as well or easy as my previous one and with the snow that has fallen since then, staying home in Saskatoon seemed more sensible. Sorry about that! We would have loved to see all of you at the service. Pastor K. L. and Mrs Margareth Peterson

Our condolences on the passing of my Aunt Lily. She was remarkable in making the most of her talents in a lifetime of service to her church and community. I will always remember her as being so busy helping others and now may she find eternal rest in heaven.
