Dear Dawn - I am so sorry to hear, via my folks, of the loss of your mother. I have such fond memories of your Mom as we grew up on Angus Street during our elementary school days. And also of our high school and even university days, too, especially out at the beach. With four popular and attractive young women in your home (Jimmy was still little back then!), there was an ever-present parade of friends (with boats) at Sunset Cove during the summers, and your mother was always so welcoming of all of us. She certainly gave the impression that she loved it, and I do believe that she really did; (so did your Dad, although I'm not sure he would have admitted it!). My sincere condolences and prayers to you, your siblings and all your family.

We are sorry to hear about Marnie, she was a great lady we met her here in Estevan when she came down to judge at our first synchro swim meet. She took the time to talk to all the swimmers from young to old.
Respectifully Submitted Ginger Anderson

Marnie is the stuff of legends. She brought so much joy to the synchro community. I've not lived in Saskatchewan for over 13 years, but I can still feel the warmth of her smile. An inspiration, indeed.

Marnie was a wonderful and giving person who will be sadly missed. I worked with her and travelled with her as part of my synchro experience and I am left with many great memories of time spent with her. I know how much her family meant to her and my thoughts are with all of you and this sad time.

Dawn, Darcee, Tracy, Jamie and Jim - I am so sorry to hear about your mom's passing. I have fond memories of her taking part in the Aquasize classes and "private" swimming lessons when I taught at the lake. She always had a smile on her face and her enthusiasm overflowed. I know you will miss her dearly. Shawna Argue (Sunset Cove)
