Dear Shawna, Ben, Amanda, Cindy, Dianne, Linda and Debbie,
I am forever grateful to James for playing "Last Post" at our father's funeral. Our father was very involved with the Regina Police Boys' Band and I remember Dad speaking highly of both Peter, who was the band leader at the time, and James, a band member. James was a professional and talented bugler who was willing to share his time and talent whenever he was asked. I remember him telling me the history of his bugle of which he was so proud. No doubt all of you will always have a big hole in your heart, but may the good memories you have of James give you some comfort. He was a good man.
