So sorry to hear about your Mum I will be thinking of you all on Friday at this sad time. I have lit a candle in my church in Heywood and said a prayer for her and that she is at last reunited with her sister and brothers. We all have good memories of Nell in England and always had a laugh on the phone. Love from Mary.

This candle is lit with love and affection in memory of our dear aunt Mary Taylor, known to all her family in England as Nell.Even though she left for Canada in 1946 she is remembered by all her close family, cousins and friends in Longridge.
On the few occasions she visited her birthplace she was always overwhelmed with invitations to the homes of all these people and enjoyed catching up on family news.
In later years she loved long telephone conversations with her nieces when she loved to chat about the Royal Family and world politics. She talked about her association with the War Brides and loved to sing with their Group.
We hope she is now reunited with her Sister Winnie and brothers Richard, Vincent, Wilfrid and Dennis who she last saw on her last visit to England in 2000.

Barb, Ed, Stewart, Steven, Philip, Joan, Sharon and respective families..
So many years have flown by, but we never forget our roots. Seems like yesterday, I met the entire Taylor clan, next door to the 'Moodies', close family friends on Lelievre St, Montreal East.
I immediately bonded (for me) with Barbra, the twins, even though they 'were ' Catholic! Their mom, Mrs. Taylor always made me feel welcome, I deciphered through her weird accent. Her smiles and welcomes always there. As a child, I was fascinated with her, soooo many kiddies! Like her, were warm, close knit, down to earth.
Over the years Barb (and Ed) and I maintained a bond, reconnecting in Sydney , Australia and again more recently. I was truly happy to hear that they had welcomed Mrs. Taylor's to join them in their move to Sask.
No doubt the proximity to family who loved her, enhanced her life over the years. Although, from what Barbara has told me, she was quite the social butterfly on her own !
All this to say, YOU who know me , know I can be a little verbose, both George and I send our sincere condolences. Let us learn from our elders, Mrs T ...remember to enjoy life, love ...Nancy and George Black
