Obituary of Monica Irene Zasada

MONICA IRENE ZASADA Monica, late of Regina, SK, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the age of 57 years. She has been reunited in Heaven with her father Joseph Zasada; and brother Tony Zasada. Left to cherish Monica’s memory is her mother Rita; son Max (Maria); grandchildren, Amelia and Alex Zasada; sisters, Eleanor (Jack) Ferwerda and Laura Zasada; brother Adam (Kyoko) Zasada; nieces, Sarah Ferwerda and Anna Zasada; nephew Anthony Ferwerda; as well as numerous cousins and extended family. Monica had a genuinely kind and generous spirit, and had a profound impact on those who knew her. She earned her Bachelor in Education and Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development, and had a great love for the students and staff with whom she worked at Jean Vanier, LeBoldus, and Miller High Schools throughout her career. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Anne’s R.C. Parish, 1701 Cowan Crescent, Regina, SK on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park. The family sends their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate doctors and nurses at Pasqua Hospital (Regina) and St. Paul’s Hospital (Saskatoon) for their excellent care.
