Obituary of Suzie Ing
SUZIE ING
MAY 25, 1961 – MARCH 6, 2017
It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Suzie Ing. Suzie was born to Roger and Mei Ing on May 25, 1961, the third of four children. Suzie touched the lives of so many people and left many friends in the community. She was an active member of Regina Chinese Alliance Church, was involved at the Regina Christian School, Canadian Blood Services, and played mandolin with the Friendly Folk group. Suzie took great pride and joy and spent endless hours baking and sewing for the enjoyment of her friends and family. She was truly talented and inspired. Suzie was predeceased by her father, Roger Ing (2008). Suzie is lovingly remembered by all those whom she held dear; her mother Mei Ing; sisters, Yvonne (Marco) Granello, Maureen (Kevin) Sinclair; brother Mitchell (Gloria) Ing; nieces and nephews, Cato (Sarah) Sinclair, Tamara (Scott) Sentes, Merlin Sinclair, Vincenzo (Jill) Granello, Chantal Ing, Nikki Granello, Derek Ing; and great nephews and nieces, Marcus, Hera, Carter, Madelyn, Ettore, and Renato. Thank you to Dr. Beck, Dr. Brar, Dr. M. Wood, and nurses of the University Hospital in Saskatoon, and to all those from the Regina General and Pasqua Hospitals who cared for Suzie over the past five decades. A special thank you to Dr. Joanne McLeod, Dr. Devaraj, Dr. O. Rivera, and Dr. S. Skinner. Visitation will be held at Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Avenue, Regina, SK on Friday, March 24, 2017 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A Celebration of Suzie’s Life will take place at Regina Chinese Alliance Church, 3010 Arens Road East, Regina, SK on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers are gratefully declined.
