Hi Sylvia,
It has been a long time since my wife Sarah and I last saw you and Peter at Sandals in Jamaica back in 1995 (you were there for Otto's wedding). I'm very sad to hear of Peter's passing. He was a great soul and I still vividly remember him standing at the Hibachi table dressed in robes and bowing with a big smile on his face. Please know that you and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sylvia and Family,
I am so sorry for your loss. Peter's passing deeply saddens me. He was larger than life and had a huge caring and giving heart. I will miss his big hugs, noisy kisses and 'I love you(s)'. Remembering our ironic family nicknames for him, like Tiny and Pumpkin always brings a smile to my face and heart. I will cherish all of my memories of growing up together and warm, fun family gatherings. His altruistic personality and sweet soul make your loss even harder to bear.
I wish I'd had a chance to see him one last time to say I love you and good-bye.
Someone as special as Peter will never be forgotten. He will remain in our hearts forever.

We are so sorry to hear about Peter. We were just talking about him last week wandering how he was doing. Unfortunately we are still away until mid April so will not be able to attend funeral but he will be in our thoughts as will Sylvia.

Peter had a huge heart! I remember many years ago (at Kevin and Kathy's) as a young child when he pulled out his cell phone (I had never seen one before), spoke with the "tooth fairy" and then told my parents that I would now receive $10 a tooth. :)
I am very sorry for your loss, my thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time.

Dear Sylvia and family,
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with at this time. Losing your best friend always leaves us reeling with despair. With only memories to hold we wonder why. The only saving grace to all of this is that those memories are sweet, like the smell of spring flowers. I, for one will always remember Pete's smile, his sense of humour, and his loyalty and dedication to family and friends. He will be missed by all whose paths he crossed.
May God Bless and warm your hearts,
Rick and Colleen Holmes

Our deep condolences to you Sylvia and family for your loss. What can you say about a man who touched so many lives with his love, kindness, humor and wit. Peter worked hard and was truly loved by many. He always had a smile on his face and loved to tell jokes and even had some great punch lines! We had always joked around about how I was his Saskatoon sweetheart. Peter will be missed by so many and I pray that the memories you shared together get you through this difficult time. All our love.

A good mutual friend of Peter and mine had sent his obituary to me 15 minutes ago and I am in shock. Peter was an awesome man who was larger than life. I had the very fortunate opportunity of spending some summer nights at Echo Lake with our mutual friends, the Deis's in the summer. This is very sad news for me and my wife and I were very sorry to hear this. Our hearts go out to you and the many people that will be grieving Peter's passing.
