I am Stan's half sister and I am very sad to hear of his passing. I didn't even know that he was not well. Stan had told me last fall that June wasn't well the last time I talked to him but he didn't say that he was not well.
Alfred Murkett was married to my mom Betty Green and were blessed with one child .. Me. Stan and June and Fran and Gert and George and Penny were all big part of my life growing up. After Dad passed away, Mom and I spent many summers at George's cottage in Fort Qu'Appelle. Over the years we have drifted apart. Fran, George and Harvey have all now passed and it saddens me to think that I'm the last offspring left from my parents. My deepest condolences to all the nices and nephews of Stan and June. Please if there is anything I can do please let me know.
