I know this is a late message, but as I was getting into my truck after grocery shopping, I spotted a man that looked like Les. Made me stop and smile for a minute. He was friends with my Dad, who passed away in August of 2017. I have fond memories of “Mr. Pyne” coming to our home to visit when I was a kid. If there is an after life, perhaps, Les is hanging out with my parents. Take care. Lorna Kathol

Hi George and family. I saw your father's obituary, Leslie George Pyne, in the May 15th Leader-Post newspaper. My wife Wendy, and I are sorry and sad to hear of the passing of your father. Our condolences and prayers are with you and your family. Losing one's mom and/or dad is very hard since they were the ones who brought you into this world, took care and raised you to be a good adult in society. When my father passed away in 2000 and my mom in 2010, it was a stressful time for myself. Wendy just lost her mom on May 10th and we were in Edmonton from the 12th to 17th for her funeral.
