Obituary of Leslie George Pyne

LESLIE GEORGE PYNE

Les, late of Riceton, SK, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 12, 2017 in Regina, SK at the age of 84 years. He was born in Kyle, SK on November 3, 1932. Les started as a painter at the RCMP Depot and then became a Civilian Member for the RCMP Crime Index Division until he retired in 1988 with 25 years of service. He spent his retirement years in Riceton, SK. Les was an extremely talented artist, painting many canvas paintings of scenic landscapes. He is survived by his wife Janice King and her son Aaron; his children, Scott Pyne (Michele), Brett, April, and Nicole; Joanne Pyne (Jeff), Alex and Tyler; and George Pyne (Michelle), Braeden, Connor, and Kelton. At Les’ request there will be no formal funeral service. His final resting place will be Riceton Cemetery.
