Obituary of Rod Christie

ROD CHRISTIE

March 28, 1934 – May 25, 2017

Son of Rod and Margaret Christie of Grenfell, SK, also predeceased by brother Norman Christie (Betty).

Rod will be loved and missed by his wife of 60 years, Margaret; their kids, Duane (Sheri) and Carol (Cam); grandkids, Ryan, Michelle, and Lauren; Ryan’s mother Lori Christie; and niece Norma Bedford (Norman).

For 40 years, Rod enjoyed a successful career working in the investment industry.

Rod was an avid golfer and member of the Wascana Country Club since 1957. He treasured his many friendships and time spent golfing and playing bridge.

Rod loved to sit in his backyard, appreciate his flowers, and interact with his numerous bird and squirrel visitors.

The family wish to extend their gratitude to Dr. Potgieter, the staff of the MSU at the Pasqua Hospital, Dr. Bhagaloo, and Dr. Prakash Patel. Your care and compassion was greatly appreciated.

At Rod’s direction, there will be no funeral service.
