Dear Judy,
So very sorry to hear of Auntie Millie's passing. You were so fortunate and blessed to have her with you for so many years. A mother is God's most precious gift.
When I hear of someone's passing, I reflect on how that person affected and influenced my life. I recall many family events and holidays at 2811 Fleury St. Funny how the address is embedded in one's memory decades later. Weddings, anniversary celebrations, birthdays, Easter, funerals and football...... your mother was always a gracious host. Welcoming into her home and life multiple family members at any given time of year took a good balance of humour, love and patience. Millie was a generous woman. She was always ready with a laugh and a smile in the morning. Over my adult years, there have been many times where I have hosted and cared for families in our home over extended periods of time. I would like to think that my ability to be a gracious and kind host in part comes from her influence and example that she set when I was a child. I am very grateful to have had her influence my childhood.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you in this time of sadness and mourning. May the loving memories of her life bring comfort to you over the days to come.

Judy,
Our deepest sympathies at this difficult time.
Auntie Millie was an incredible person. Such a great sense of humour, and always a great attitude. We will miss her. I am so glad that Chase got to meet her a few times. She so great with him, just as she was with me, when I was his age.
I'm sure she she will be watching down on our Riders.
Thinking of you,
Brad, Terri, Alex, Max, and Chase.

The first time I remember meeting your Mother, she left me in awe. It was a huge family gathering and she was like the General, in charge and everything done right. But then I saw my Dad joking around with her and she was laughing. I realized she had a great sense of humor at the same time as being a woman of dignity, pride and strength. She was always there for family and, of course, for you Judy. Auntie Millie was one heck of an impressive, lovely person and we were all the more blessed for having known her. God Bless.

Dear Judy
Although no words can ever really help to ease your loss, I can only hope that happy memories of your mom can bring you comfort during this painful time in your life. Your mom, and all she meant to you, will remain in your heart forever.
I will never forget Auntie Millie’s wonderful laugh and dry sense of humor. She always made family vacations so very special and memorable during my younger years.
Please accept our deepest condolences and know that your mom will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to have spent time with her.
A Big Hug to you from both myself and Greg
Love,
Donna

I have very fond memories of my Auntie Millie. She was always there for us at family events and celebrations, helping others, laughing, and being the voice of reason. She was strong, intelligent, diplomatic, funny and talented in so many ways. My memories of Auntie Millie often make me smile, or realize how strong and smart she was. She was a great woman, and she will be greatly missed. Now, she’s with Uncle Peter and all the other loved ones we miss, and Heaven’s a happier place with Auntie Millie there. Jan xo

Our condolences to you Judith at this sad time. Your Mom is and always will be a wonderful woman. She always had a Hearty Lovely Laugh. Please know that you are in our thoughts and Aunt Millie is now in our hearts.
I will always remember Aunt Millie for she with her simple words shared a private time with me years ago when I was really miffed at our father priest two months before I went overseas with the Canadian University Service Overseas (CUSO) in Canada’s Centennial year.
For that summer when asking our father priest for his signature as a gaunter, which was required at that time on my passport…. I shared with this holy soul why I wanted to go over-seas to Ghana West Africa to teach…I was told by the holy man “Why would you want to go to be amongst those heathens” …. this BLEW my MIND.
Aunt Millie eased my troubled mind and calmed my questioning by saying” I know you Gerry… you will do very well go and learn….and we both laughed out loud.
Respect Aunt Millie…Respect.
