I had the opportunity to get to know Brenda through SIA and the planning of the AIC conference in Regina in the early 90's. She was a kind soul with a fun nature. I am so sad to hear of her passing. My prayers are with the whole Machin family.

Our friendship will always be special to me Brenda. I loved your wonderful sense of humour and caring manner.
You spoke of how much you loved St. Matthew Anglican Church, sad your memorial is not in our beautiful church; however, to be respected.
I will miss you, rest in peace my friend.
My deepest sympathy to the family.
Love and Blessings,
Marlene Skaalrud

Dear Family,
We were so sorry to read in the Leader Post that Brenda had passed away. Brenda and I were childhood friends and we were confirmed together in the little Anglican Church in Pilot Butte. Our family farms were nearby so we often could be together. She was a great person and always had a humorous quip when we would be chatting- with a ready smile. Dale also knew Brenda from his days with Sask. Ag. and considered her a good colleague. Our deepest sympathy to all of you. Unfortunately, we will not be able to attend the service.

Deepest sympathy to Ralph and Myrna and family on Brenda's passing. Brenda was a kind and caring person who was much loved by her friends at St. Matthew Anglican Church. Over the years, Brenda always stepped forward to help and also to bake for our many Bazaar and Teas. She is much missed by so many.
May you always carry her sweet memories in your heart.
Mae Boa, St. Matthew Anglican Church
